Description

This is a really fine example of a Lake Scene from the renowned Kildare based Watercolour artist James H. Flack (1941-2018). It is a very calm and serene painting. The natural light together with the reflections of the foliage are captured expertly by the artist. This is a very striking and substantial watercolour painting with dimensions of 30” w x 23” L.
The painting was purchased in a gallery in Kilternan Co. Dublin where it had been reframed therefore the artist’s label is not to be found on the rear.
However the trademark signature (J.H Flack) of Mr. Flack can be seen in the right hand corner (see photograph). This painting was originally purchased for €500. so it is being sold at a knockdown price of €230. as a quick sale is required.
